insic Diia ID service

The insic Diia ID service enables legally compliant verification of Ukrainian ID cards, similar to the eID process. The Diia app enjoys high acceptance among the Ukrainian population.

With this app, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVS) enables the secure verification of ID cards and passports. Upon proof of legitimate interest, the app will be activated for Android and iOS in the insic system.

After using FaceID or entering access data into the local app and confirming a personal access PIN, the ID card reading process begins. The app reads the ID card’s RFID chip with the mobile phone’s RFID reader and authorizes the transaction . Feedback is sent online directly to insic and the connected platform.

Further verification of address information at home and abroad, against various blacklists and even scoring is possible via the insic Workflow Manager.

insic does not charge transaction fees. There are also no costs for providing this service. For public or non-profit institutions, we cover our operating and integration costs. Our existing customers receive this solution as a free upgrade. These commitments initially apply for the duration of the war in Ukraine.
