insic Face Recognition 21+ allows for quick camera-based age verification.

Many online services impose age restrictions, particularly for free offers, which typically only require an age check without necessitating the provision of personal data. The insic Face Recognition 21+ enables immediate age verification through optical analysis of a live image captured by the devices camera.

The insic widget requests access to the camera on the users desktop or mobile device. The browser client performs local analysis of the data stream, including liveness detection, while facial features are analysed from various angels for age verification. Upon successful verification, users can access the connected service without providing any additional personal information.

No data is stored centrally unless configured otherwise; all processing occurs locally within the browser. If you require verification of the age check beyond a simple “successful” service message, you can activate the transmission of the camera image and biometric data to your server.

The recognition process automatically restarts if multiple faces are detected simultaneously or if lighting conditions are inadequate.
