WebID TrueID for accessing WebID video identification that has already taken place

The TrueID service offers identification compliant with both the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM), using SMS authentication, to meet the highest standards.

TrueID utilizes a prior identity check conducted through WebID, providing users with a familiar process. The service begins with an Availability Check, which cross-references parameters such as the user’s first name, last name, birth data, email address, and phone number to see if the user exists in the WebID database. If a match is found, the service is displayed on the Frontend; otherwise, it remains hidden.

Once the user is verified, they only need to confirm the start of the service by clicking on the call-to-action button. A PIN code is then sent via SMS to the mobile number linked to the user’s original identification. The user must enter this PIN in the provided field to complete their identification process.

The transactions are billed through your contract with WebID.
