The TrueID service offers BaFin and KJM-compliant identification via SMS authentication and thus meets the highest standards.

The TrueID service relies on identity verification previously performed via WebID. Users are thus offered a familiar and trusted process via WebID.

The upstream availability check uses various parameters such as first name, last name, date of birth, email address, and telephone number to verify whether the user is stored in the WebID database. If the match is found, the service is displayed to the user in the frontend. If not, the service remains invisible. Based on this preliminary check, the user only needs to confirm the start of the service using a call-to-action button.

A PIN code from the user’s initial identification is then sent to the mobile phone via SMS. This code must then be entered into the displayed field to fully identify the user.

Transactions are billed through your contract with WebID.
